School Aims

Aims

The staff, pupils, parents, carers and governors at Stanley Primary School aim to provide a safe, happy and positive environment and believe that:

Learning is enjoyable and we learn throughout our lives striving to reach our potential in all areas.

We all have an active role to play in the learning process: asking questions, being challenged and having the courage to make mistakes and learn from them.

We gain self-confidence through learning to work both co-operatively and through the development of the skills of independent learning.

Through a range of varied experiences, during and beyond the school day, we achieve our personal best, have pride in our achievements and in the school as a whole.

We feel safe, valued and respected through respecting the beliefs, opinions and culture of others within the school and the wider community.
